The actuator used in the pneumatic precision positioning platform is a bellows, which controls the amount of air intake and then the displacement of the bellows by controlling the proportional reading signal. Due to the bellows cavity, the electric proportional valve and the gas itself, there is a non-one-to-one correspondence between the input electrical signal and the output displacement of the system, which means that the same input voltage is output during the reciprocating motion of the bellows. The displacement value will have a slight difference, which is manifested in a certain amount of displacement in the upward movement with increasing air pressure and the downward movement with decreasing air pressure. This difference in output displacement is the hysteresis of the bellows positioning platform. Compensation through the model is necessary for a high-precision positioning platform. |
